How are plymouth and jamestown alike?

They are both huge examples of completely ill-equipped, totally naive supremacists who came to this country ..... bringing absolutely no supplies whatsoever..... totally dependent upon their native neighbors for their initial survival ... and somehow managed to survive and thrive.
