What excuses will the neocoms make when the pendulum shift back to the right in 2010?

There is a shift coming but I don't know how great it will go for either party. The reps did a lot of damage to themselves by supporting Bush too much and now them dems are doing it with Obama. The only difference is that Obama has had a lot of criticism since the election. The next major shift which I think will be after '10 will be bigger and will kill one or both parties.
