Deep cut on finger and bruising?

I've had a cut from a mixer a week ago,on the index finger, the wound has sealed, not swollen, I use Iodine as antiseptic. However what bothers me is bruising on the places where the finger bends, so the joints. The bruising above the wound was green now looks green-blue, and another bruising developed on a joint below the cut. Is it serious? I'm really worried, what should I do? Please someone help.
