Islam perspective needed here...?

there's a lot to prove that Mohammad (PBUH) did not write the Quran. Let me give you an example: Quran challenges all humans to gather their efforts and write a book that is better than the Holy Quran. If someone does this, I will be the first to convert from Islam to whatever religion he is. It's not about quantity (the number of authors), it's about quality and authenticity.
